The Scout Flammable Gas Sensor for the Scout 137 Drone is a specialized drone-mounted device that detects and alerts operators to flammable gases in the environment, forming an essential part of the ScoutDI confined-space inspection ecosystem. Key features include real-time warnings for enhanced safety, a lifespan of over 15 years with low ownership costs, no need for field calibrations due to factory calibration and built-in self-testing, additional ambient temperature readings, and compliance with IEC 60079-29-1:2016, with ongoing certification for EN50271.
The sensor ensures accurate detection for methane and hydrogen across a wide range of environmental conditions. Other gases typically meet published tolerances, primarily under standard conditions (20˚C, 50% Relative Humidity). The sensor’s accuracy is validated against ISO 10156 standards.
